Author Guidelines

We invite researchers, academics, practitioners, and postgraduate students to submit high-quality scholarly works to INDONESIAN STUDIES. Please review the following technical requirements and formatting guidelines carefully to ensure a smooth evaluation process.

1. Article Types

We accept original research papers, conceptual articles, case studies, and literature reviews related to tourism studies.

2. Language & Technical Format

• Language: Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English.
• Length: Articles should range between 5,000–8,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.
• Formatting: Use 1 spacing, 12pt Candara font, and A4 paper size.
• File Type: Submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format.

• Originality: Submitted works must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
• Citation & References: Use in-text citations and reference listings strictly following APA (7th Edition) guidelines.

5. Plagiarism Policy

All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software. Articles with over 15% similarity will be rejected.

6. Submission & Review Process

• Submission: Manuscripts must be submitted directly through the journal’s official submission portal.
• Review Process: All submissions undergo a double-blind peer-review process by at least two independent reviewers.
