Free Publication Policy

INDONESIAN STUDIES does not charge any article processing or publication fees. All stages of the publication process—submission, peer review, editing, and publication—are completely FREE of charge (0 IDR). This policy reflects our commitment to open access and academic inclusivity, ensuring that authors can disseminate their research widely without financial barriers.

What Our Publishing Services Cover

Despite being completely free of charge, every accepted manuscript receives comprehensive professional support throughout the publication lifecycle:

• Initial Screening: Administrative checks and focus & scope evaluation by the editorial team.
• Peer Review Process: Peer evaluation by expert reviewers in the relevant field.
• Copyediting & Layouting: Professional formatting according to the journal's template.
• DOI Assignment: Registration of Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through Crossref for each published article.
• Online Publication: Hosting and permanent archiving of the article on the journal's website.
• Indexing Support: Submission of metadata to international indexing databases and academic repositories.

Submission Guidelines

Authors can submit their manuscripts directly through the official submission portal without any upfront charges or submission fees. Upon formal acceptance, authors will receive an official Acceptance Letter from the editorial team via email.
