Zero-Tolerance Policy

LENSA TURISTIKA enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy against intellectual dishonesty, plagiarism, data fabrication, and falsification. All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo rigorous screening to ensure absolute originality and academic integrity.

1. Screening & Similarity Threshold

• Software Screening: Every incoming manuscript is automatically checked for similarity using advanced plagiarism detection software (such as Turnitin).
• Acceptable Threshold: The maximum acceptable similarity index threshold is 15%. Manuscripts exceeding this limit will be immediately returned to the author for revision or rejected outright.

2. Handling Academic Misconduct

In cases of alleged or proven research misconduct, including text recycling, citation manipulation, data fabrication, or falsification—the editorial board will strictly follow the core principles and comprehensive flowcharts provided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

3. Sanctions and Penalties

If severe ethical violations are confirmed, the journal executes the following punitive measures:

• Immediate rejection of the manuscript under review.
• Publication of an official formal retraction notice for articles already published online.
• Permanent blacklisting of the authors from submitting future manuscripts to Lensa Turistika.
• Issuing an official notification letter regarding the ethical breach directly to the author's affiliated university rector, dean, or institution.
